During the period of 15-17 May 2019 in Aksakovo, Bulgaria, was carried out the first meeting of the project “European future is our future”

During the period of 15-17 May 2019 in Aksakovo, Bulgaria, was carried out the first meeting of the project “European future is our future”, upgrades the previous projects “Europe in future- unified and multifaceted”and “Future of Europe-Reload” by Europe for citizens Programme with new topic “Belonging to EU and European Spirit”. In the meeting took part 15 invited participants from the project partner`s countries: Municipality of Vila Nova de Cerveira (Portugal) with 6 participants leaded by Mayor - Fernando Nogueira; Municipality of Osilo (Italy) with 6 participants leaded by Mr. Giovanni Ligios-Mayor of the municipality; Municipality of Nova Gorica (Slovenia)with 3 participants leaded by Gorazd Božič- Head of the Mayor's Cabinet; Municipality of Dalgopol (Bulgaria )with 10 participants leaded by Mayor of the municipality - Georgi Georgiev.
On the first day 15 May 2019 the Network of Towns “Open towns” was expanded. The represntatives of the Municipalities signed the document for signed the document for the association to the Network of towns. They received the the prize with the logo of the Network of Towns “Open towns”.
In the meeting took part Lilayna Pavlova – the Еxminister of the Ministry of Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the European Union. She explained about important role of the local authority for the Future of Europe.
The project manager – Mrs Neli Petrova presented the results of the previous project “Europe in the future-multifaceted and unified “ and events of the project “Future of Europe-Reload”, draw the future activities in the project here

The mayors of the partner`s municipalities signed the document “Project Agreement” with rights and obligations of each partner.
Participants had opportunities to know about achievement of the Municipality of Aksakovo through the Electronic Exhibition “Our European achievements” during the coffee –breaks.
The kick-off meeting was carried out with project coordinators.
On the second day 16 May 2019 was carried out International Conference “Those who want more do more”.

The Electronic Simulation game “European E,ection 2019”was carried out with youth. They play game with free teams The European Solidarity Group, The European Ecology Group, The European Liberty Group. The game was played in 3 rounds:
In the first round our parties presented their election platform.
In the second round the party`s leaders asked their opponents.
In the third round the parties replied of the questions of the public.
The youth share their opinion about European policy- economic issues, education, social issues, green economy and etc. Half of our citizens and public had opportunities to vote electronically on the web-site http://2019.europeinfuture.eu/?page=57&lang=en
In the afternoon partners share experience and good practices about project financed by European founds.

On the third day 17 May 2019 participants visited Botanical garden in Balchik. They have opportunity to gain knowledge of the history and nature of Bulgaria.
